Andrea L. Ebert, 30-year-old special education teacher with the Rice Lake School District, Wisconsin, has been accused of engaging in sex with at least two teenage students and and sending several nude pictures of herself to them.
Last week Ebert was charged in Barron County Court with felony counts of sexual assault of a student by a school staff member. If convicted, the crimes carry a combined maximum penalty of six years in jail. Reportedly, at least two teenage victims have been identified in the case. The victims are neither elementary or middle school students and none of the alleged sexual impropriety is believed to have occurred on school property. Ebert is only accused of sending nude photos of herself to boys over recent months.
An 18-year-old boy told police Friday that Ebert sent nude photos of herself to him about 15 times over the past several months, including a time when he was 17. The teen told police he told Ebert he was concerned that Ebert may get in trouble for her activities, but she replied, "If you guys keep your mouth shut, we don't have anything to worry about." The teen said he had sexual intercourse with Ebert in December and twice in January at her Barron residence. Ebert told police she had sex twice with the teen.
A 17-year-old boy told police he had sex with Ebert at her Cameron residence in November, and she performed oral sex acts on him a few weeks later.
The boy also said Ebert was drinking at a tavern in Rice Lake and sent him a text message about needing a ride. He said he gave her a ride and she later texted him several nude photos of herself.
Ebert told police she texted about 10 nude photos of herself to the teens in recent months.
Ebert was released on a $5,000 signature bond with orders not to have contact with the victims, their families nor minor children other than her own
